We provide the expertise to manage major capital projects from the very beginning stages until construction completion. We work for owners that may not have the necessary resources but do have the responsibility for project end users, citizens and stakeholders. PFGC acknowledges the owner’s central role in the project and serves as the advisor and communication center on behalf of the owner, investors and stakeholders.

We act in the owner's best interest at every stage of the project providing building process expertise that suits your goals and budget. We effectively manage for you: contract administration, code compliance analysis, value engineering, life-cycle utility usage analysis, cost control analysis, contractor management and project scheduling. 
 

PFGC strategy uses an agile process in which the CM staff overlaps with PFGA Architects and Engineers to best coordinate the entire building project. Since our Construction Managers are also Architects, we can ensure that the design intent is realized in the construction phase. This is achieved through PFGC working with both the general contractor's means and methods of construction, the architectural/engineering design team and Owner's intent. Our work methodology includes fluid communication and clear direction to the GC for important project elements including design, detailing, cost and schedule.  

We know that building success can be achieved from the traditional Design-Bid-Build. However, PFGC also believes by incorporating construction related criteria early in the design process, the building phase will yield a better product. This methodology successfully integrates Construction Managers with the owner's business team and the Architect and Engineers. This way, the talents and insights of all participants are collected, analyzed and integrated, which optimizes project results by maximizing efficiency through all phases of planning, design, fabrication, and construction.

Many of the obstacles that occur in a construction project can be foreseen and avoided. Our CM company strategy uses an agile process to make early assessments which can help avoid costly redesigns or scheduling impacts.

PFGC staff overlaps with PFGA Architects and Engineers to best coordinate an entire building project. This is a great asset to our clients since our Construction Managers are also Architects, which ensures that discussions between them is fluid and responsive which provides clarity for the owner regarding design, cost, schedule and construction. 

We utilize advanced technology, working with PFGA (BIM, energy modeling), to visualize the project details, challenges and goals. This discovery and resolution, during the design phase and as needed during construction phase, enables PFGC to disseminate essential information accurately and quickly, to owners and contractors, which saves time and associated costs.
